Why was Build-a-Hood Created?
Range Hoods have been a focal point in homes for many years and Vent-a-Hood provides an assortment of standard sized readily available products along with customized products. Recently Vent-a-Hood has seen a trend towards taking standard size products and adding lip treatments, bands or pot rails. These add-ons can be difficult for a customer to visualize so Vent-a-Hood created a platform that allowed customers to visualize their future hood easily.
How was the Build-a-Hood Platform Created?
Vent-a-Hood partnered with a company called AutoDesk Configurator 360. They are a leader in 3D modeling and with their help Vent-a-Hood was able to design a program that allowed you to customize a hood in real time. You can add blowers, change hood sizes, add duct covers, adjust to various trim options and so much more.
